The Executive department functions as the strategic and decision-making core of the organization, responsible for setting direction, driving alignment, and ensuring disciplined execution across all functions. It provides leadership oversight on strategy, governance, performance, and growth initiatives while enabling cross-functional collaboration at the highest level. By balancing long-term vision with operational rigor, the Executive team ensures sustainable growth, accountability, and organizational excellence.


About the Role


The Head of Business Operations role is a senior leadership position responsible for translating organizational strategy into efficient, scalable, and measurable execution. The role focuses on building operational discipline, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and driving performance through structured processes and data-driven decision-making. By partnering closely with the executive leadership team, this position ensures consistency, accountability, and sustainable growth across all business functions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and oversee end-to-end business operations to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured operational plans with clear execution ownership.
  • Establish and optimize SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls across functions.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination between sales, procurement, finance, and delivery teams.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, performance metrics, and business risks on a regular basis.
  • Identify efficiency gaps and lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
  • Support executive leadership in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure operational compliance, documentation discipline, and audit readiness.
  • Enable scalability by improving systems, workflows, and execution frameworks.
  • Build a culture of accountability, performance ownership, and execution excellence.

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B business development, business operations, consulting, or leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex operational workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, business operations, or leadership roles.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment at a senior position, with direct involvement in strategic and commercial decision-making.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, SOP design, and compliance-driven processes.
  • Experience with performance metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
